Kwale International Sugar Company Ltd (KISCOL) is one of Pabari Group’s flagship agribusiness ventures, located in the coastal region of Kenya. KISCOL operates a fully integrated sugar production enterprise comprising three core operations: large-scale sugarcane farming, industrial sugar milling, and renewable energy generation. The company manages a 5,000-hectare nucleus estate dedicated to the cultivation of sugarcane, ensuring a consistent and high-quality raw material supply to its mill.

The factory is equipped with a modern milling facility that processes up to 3,300 tons of sugarcane per day, producing refined sugar for both domestic and regional markets. In addition to sugar production, KISCOL has adopted sustainable energy practices by generating 18 megawatts (MW) of electricity from bagasse— a by-product of sugarcane processing. This not only reduces operational costs but also contributes to the national grid and supports environmental responsibility.
